We're delighted to welcome all of Edgbaston, and beyond, to come together and celebrate the wonder of Christmas with us.
Whether it’s our traditional Carols by Candlelight service, the organised chaos of our Christmas Eve Crib Service, or breakfast, carols and the Christmas story for all the family on Christmas Day, we really hope there’ll be something for everyone.

- All Age Carol Service
- Sunday 7th December
- 10.30am
- Christmas carols accompanied by a live band, and an exploration of the Christmas story suitable for all ages.
- Followed by Church Family Lunch and Open House at the Vicarage; get in touch for more details.
- Carols by Candlelight
- Sunday 14th December
- 6pm for mulled wine; 6.30pm service
- Edgbaston Golf Club invite all service-goers for dinner afterwards (£21 per person); contact the Golf Club (see below) if you would like to book.
- Crib Service
- Sunday 24th December
- 3pm
- Come dressed as your favourite character from the Christmas story or borrow a costume from us!
- Midnight Communion
- Sunday 24th December
- 11.00pm
- A traditional service to welcome in Christmas Day with a celebration of the Lord's Supper.
- We're delighted to welcome Michael Volland, the bishop of Birmingham, as our guest preacher.
- Christmas Day Celebration
- Monday 25th December
- Breakfast from 10.00am, service at 10.30am
- Join with the whole St Bartholomew's church family for a joyful celebration of Jesus's birth!
- Enjoy a festive breakfast with us in the church building from 10.00am - all welcome, no need to book!
- A short service of Holy Communion will follow our main gathering.
