Sundays

Services

At the heart of our church life is gathering week by week to worship God: listening to his Word, responding in prayer and praise, receiving the Lord's Supper as a tangible assurance of God's love and grace, and – through all we experience as we come together – being built up as the family of God for life with Him through the rest of the week.

Sundays at 10.30am

Our 10.30 service is a family-friendly gathering, combining traditional and modern hymns, relevant teaching for all ages (including Sunday School for ages 3-11 and crèches for babies and toddlers), time to share news as a church family, and, most weeks, a celebration of the Lord’s Supper.

Our services last around 1 and a quarter hours, and are also accessible via YouTube (sign up here to get the link, or go to our YouTube channel to get a taste of what we’re all about). Refreshments are served afterwards, and once a month we stay on for lunch together in the church building, offering a little more time and space to get to know each other better.

Discover more about our services on our What To Expect page.

Find out about special services and other events coming up on our What’s On page.

Our Sunday School runs in strict adherence to our Church Safeguarding Policy. Find out more here.

Wednesdays at 10.30am

We also hold a midweek morning service of Holy Communion, every Wednesday at 10.30am. This is a more traditional said service, following the Book of Common Prayer.

There is a range of different groups and activities happening throughout the week at St Bartholomew’s; click one of the links to discover more about what goes on.

If you’ve joined us recently, we would love to get to know you. Please get in touch to say hello, so we can help you get involved with church life here.
