Sundays
Services
Join us every Sunday morning, in-person and online.
There’s no need to book to join in-person, and we’ve plenty of space to ensure that everyone feels safe.
Most Sundays, we have services at 9.15am and 11.00am, with refreshments in between to enjoy fellowship as one church family. Every now and then, we come together for a combined 10.30am service, to commemorate significant moments and festivals in the life of our church.
Services for the next month are as follows:
- 29th May – 9.15 and 11.00am *
- 5th June – 9.15 * and 11.00am
- 12th June – 9.15 and 11.00am *
- 19th June – 9.15 and 11.00am *
- ( * = Holy Communion )
Information on our 9.15 and 11.00 services can be found below; click here for more details about our next combined 10.30 service.
9.15am
Our 9.15 service is an informal, family-friendly gathering, with singing all together, Bible stories, prayer, time to share news, Sunday School for 3s-11s, a creche zone for under-3s, and a talk for grown-ups. On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate Holy Communion together.
The service lasts around 1 hour, and is also accessible via Zoom (sign up here to get the meeting details), for those who are unable to join in-person. Refreshments are served afterwards.
Our Sunday School runs in strict adherence to our Church Safeguarding Policy. Find out more here.
11.00am
Our 11.00 service is a more traditional service following the Church of England’s ancient liturgy, with hymns, prayer, Bible readings, a sermon, and, most weeks, a celebration of Holy Communion. It lasts around an hour, and is also streamed online.
Refreshments are served beforehand, at 10.30am; everyone attending our 11.00 service is warmly encouraged to arrive in good time to enjoy fellowship with 9.15 service attendees.
The live stream link is sent out each week in our email updates. Sign up here.
Refreshments
Tea and coffee are served from 10.20am. Everyone attending our 11.00 service is warmly encouraged to arrive in good time to enjoy fellowship with the 9.15 service attendees.
Wednesdays at 10.30am
We also hold a midweek morning service of Holy Communion, every Wednesday at 10.30am. This is a more traditional said service, following the Book of Common Prayer.

There is a range of different groups and activities happening throughout the week at St Bartholomew’s; click one of the links to discover more about what goes on.
If you’ve joined us recently, we would love to get to know you. Please get in touch to say hello, so we can help you get involved with church life here.
