Harvest
All are welcome at St Bartholomew’s this Harvest, as we give thanks to God for his provision and share what we have with our neighbours.

- Our guest speaker is Kathryn Hindley, who heads up Birmingham City Mission’s schools ministry team, including work in schools in and around our own parish. The St Bartholomew’s Singers will be leading our worship.
- Church Family Lunch
- Sunday 4th October
- After the morning service
- Our monthly church family lunch follows the Harvest service, in the church building. £3 per adult and £2 per child, paid on the day. Please sign up via ChurchSuite or at the back of church.
- Harvest Collection for Birmingham City Mission
- Now until Sunday 4th October
- Sunday mornings, or Wednesdays 10am-11.30am
- As in previous years, we are collecting food and non-perishable items for the Birmingham City Mission Resource Centre, culminating at the Harvest service itself. Please bring your gifts to church; the list below shows what BCM have asked for.
What to bring
Birmingham City Mission have asked for:
- Coffee, tea and hot chocolate
- Milk (UHT or powdered) *
- Sugar *
- Tinned potatoes, vegetables and tomatoes
- Rice and pot noodles (not pasta)
- Spaghetti hoops
- Tinned meat * and fish
- Tinned fruit *
- Rice pudding
- Custard
- Cereals
- Biscuits
- Jam and marmalade
- Toothpaste
- Soap, shower gel and shampoo
- Deodorant *
- Toilet rolls
